Piccolo Films has been producing independent film, animations and art for over 30 years with a reputation for innovation, creativity and excellence through the work of its two principals; Ray Argall and Lucinda Clutterbuck.
Ray Argall’s work spans all disciplines of film making. He has worked as a film maker for over three decades, directing, shooting, writing and editing classic films, documentaries, television and music videos. He is also an expert in film restoration.
Lucinda Clutterbuck trained as an artist at Les Beaux Arts de Paris before becoming an animator and is one of Australia’s best contemporary animators and animation producers. She was awarded a Film Makers Fellowship by the Australian Film Commission in recognition of her skills and significant body of work.
Piccolo Films functions more like an artist’s precinct than a production company. There is always something going on; film restoration, art making, film production, animations or workshop planning.
